Phil has been Chairman of CloserStill since 2009 and was also CEO from 2016 to 2020. With two colleagues he acquired Nottingham Forest FC in 1997 and was Chairman and Chief Executive for a number of years, shortly after being awarded Japanese Publisher of the Year. Phil has previously held the post of Chairman of the AEO and was Chair of the Events Committee of the AEO for 10 years. He is proudly a long-time Guest Editor of Exhibition News. He is the official historian of both Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur, as well as Nottngham Forest. He is also Chairman, and an original shareholder, of Nineteen Group.
