Laura has over 18years of proven success in strategic marketing, event management, and business development. Laura has driven B2B lead generation and conversion through complex marketing and communications strategies and campaign plans during her career. She has project managed event delivery and sponsorship activation at exhibitions, conferences, country pavilions, trade delegations, awards ceremonies, and cross-continent road shows, amongst other event formats, in more than 30 countries.
Laura is currently Associate Vice President, Marketing and Communications at dmg events, a large-scale exhibition and conference organiser, who deliver 84 events per year across the world, with a total of 21,000 exhibitors and 425,000 attendees. Having led the marketing teams on the energy divisions flagship shows, she now develops and implements best practise across the business; trains, and mentors’ the heads of marketing; and specialises in strategy, PR and communications, and data.
