Phil created CloserStill with Andy Center in 2009 when they put £700,000 of their own cash into a start up business. This year it sold for $1.77 billion, an increase in value of some 1,800 times. It was the second highest price ever paid for an exhibition company. Phil will talk about what is important in growing an exhibition business, as well as the challenges that current market conditions create.
